Our Purpose Our purpose is to provide financial and volunteer support for the music program at Hanahan High School. We are registered as a non-profit organization with the state of South Carolina since 2000. Our Vision Our organization projects a positive image to the students, professional image to the community, promotes student leadership, and assist the band director. |

Would you like to get involved with the booster team? The booster organization meets every third Thursday of the month in the band room. 2008/2009 Fundraising Opportunities Stadium Sign Sale Start Date: June 2 until Ending Date: The June 30 deadline has been extended to give new members an opportunity to participate. This fundraiser gives band and color guard students an opportunity to sell high quality stadium signs to local business for display at Wiley Knight Stadium (Hanahan High School Sports Complex). The signs will be purchased and printed during the summer and displayed at the start of football season. When a student sells a sign, part of the proceeds will be applied their student account. Parent information letter Serv-a-thon letter Fair Concession Stand Date: Oct 30 - Nov 8 Place: Coastal Carolina Fair Grounds at Ladson SC Projected Goal: Projected goal: $10,000 The booster organization sponsors a concession stand at the fair. All proceeds supports the band. This year each family is expected to volunteer for four or more shifts. Please review the schedule and contact Jason Snelson to reserve your shifts. Conclusion: Citrus Sale Dates: Oct 17 - Nov 17 Place: Our community Projected Goal: $4,000 Turn in tally sheets and money: Everyone in Hanahan buys fruit from the band members. At the start of the event each student is issued a packet with included a "Fruit Facts" letter, tally sheet and a color brochure. A spreadsheet version of the tally sheet is also available. Every family is expected to sell fruit. Conclusion: Flower Sale Dates: Dec 16 - Jan 15 Place: Our community Projected Goal: $3,000 |
